This is a terminal evaluation of a UNEP GEF project implemented between 2003 and 2009. The project's main goal was to contribute to the conservation of globally significant wetlands and migratory waterbirds in Asia. The project's objective was to improve ecological integrity and viability of the network of critical wetlands needed by the Siberian Crane, migratory waterbirds and other globally significant wetland biodiversity. The terminal evaluation set out to assess the actual performance and results of the Project against the planned projects activities and outputs, at the regional, national and national levels.
